Still Here...

Months later, still here, no baby, no hope. That's all for now.

I just stumbled across your blog and would like you to know that I completely sympathize with your plight and I am sorry you are having a difficult time. I am 32 years old and had a kidney transplant in 1999. My kidney has functioned perfectly for almost 10 years. My husband and I decided to get pregnant, so I switched over my meds last July. I went from a combination of prograf, cellcept, and prednisone to prograf, prednisone, and azathioprine. We then watched my creatinine go from 0.8 to 1.4 between July and now. A biopsy showed no damage as a result of this, but it was determined that a pregnancy wouldn't be worth risking the kidney. So I went back on Cellcept today. I am very bummed. However I am attempting to be optimistic and am seriously thinking about surrogacy...although I'd have to mortgage myself to afford it!
Furthermore, my dad died in August 2007 from lung cancer. Reading your blog kind of feels like looking into a mirror.
Anyway, I wish you all the luck in the world and I congratulate you on the success of your transplant =)

Hello, I know how you are feeling. I had a kidney transplant in 2002. Me and my husband started seeing an RE last January and I still am not pregnant. I have been taking clomid and we are going to start to do IUI's soon. It does get very frustrating. I know it is hard, but try not to give up hope, I will be keeping you in my prayers.
